Michelangelo Dreams of Texas Chainsaw
First Collection, 2026
Michelangelo was obsessed with perfection. Then he dreamed of a chainsaw.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) collides with the Renaissance, disrupting its ideal of beauty. In the dream, Michelangelo destroys his own work: marble fractures, bodies accumulate, and anatomy twists beyond perfection, suspended between the sacred and the grotesque.
What remains is caught in time: fragments of bodies and distorted forms, remnants of a beauty corrupted by an inexplicable rupture. Centuries later, these fragments return, no longer carved in stone but transformed into objects to be worn.
As the pieces enter the body of the wearer, the dream begins again. Forms shift, bodies merge, and leather and shadow take over, transforming ancient remnants into something darker, stranger, alive.
The collection unfolds in three movements:
MICHELANGELO
Perfection.
DREAMS OF
Rupture.
TEXAS CHAINSAW
Transformation.
